Baptism in the Tysa River — 7 New Souls for the Lord

This past Sunday, something truly special took place on the picturesque banks of the Tysa River: seven people entered into a covenant with the Lord through water baptism. Seven hearts responded to His call. Seven lives were reborn and set on a new path in Christ.

Baptism is more than a ceremony. It is a sacred moment of renewal — when the old life is buried beneath the water, and a new creation rises, cleansed, free, and filled with hope. These seven individuals, each with their own unique stories and journeys to faith, made the same powerful decision: to follow Jesus with their whole hearts.

The service began with prayer and worship. The message that preceded the baptism was both deep and stirring — a reminder of the power of forgiveness, the grace that transforms, and the great price Christ paid for every soul. Testimonies followed. Some were spoken through trembling voices. Others through tears of gratitude. But all were filled with sincerity and the love of God.

One by one, each person was baptized by the pastor and church leaders. The river water was cold, but the fire in their hearts was undeniable. Joy and the presence of the Lord were felt all around.

After the baptism, the church welcomed the new brothers and sisters with joyful applause, warm embraces, and words of blessing. It was a day when heaven rejoiced with us.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

May this baptism be only the beginning of a powerful journey of faith. May each of the seven continue to grow in their knowledge of God, be rooted in His love, and bear fruit for His glory.

All glory to Jesus Christ for every soul saved!
Baptism is not the end — it’s the beginning of true life.
