Chicka Boom — A Summer Project for Children in Rakhiv

Chicka Boom is an annual summer project organized by our church, House of Prayer for All Nations, for children in the city of Rakhiv.

Purpose of the Camp

The goal of the camp is to create a safe and joyful environment where children can spend time in a Christian atmosphere, grow spiritually, develop communication skills in English, and experience positive community life.

Main Focus Areas of the Camp:

• Spiritual Development
•  Children engage in daily Bible stories, prayer, worship, and discussions about Christian values — all presented in an accessible and engaging way.
• Language Practice
•  English is used as a means of communication. Part of the program involves native speakers or volunteers who help children learn English through songs, games, and skits.
• Creativity and Teamwork
•  Children take part in workshops, themed days, quests, and team competitions, which foster leadership, responsibility, and mutual respect.
• Natural Setting
•  The camp is held in a mountainous area, allowing children to enjoy fresh air, nature, and active recreation.

Who Is the Camp For?

The project is designed for children aged 7 to 14. We welcome not only kids from church families but also those who are not yet familiar with Christian teaching. The camp is open to anyone seeking a meaningful and safe summer experience.

Team Ministry

The camp is organized by church leaders and volunteers. Preparation involves the youth and children’s ministries, along with teachers, animators, worship leaders, and prayer supporters. This is a real opportunity to serve children with love and care, meeting their practical and spiritual needs.

Our Vision

We believe Chicka Boom is not just a summer camp — it is a form of mission. Through this project, children hear the Word of God, experience His love, and build a strong moral foundation. Through play, songs, fellowship, and prayer, we sow seeds of faith in young hearts — seeds that will surely grow.
